Information you provide

Little Luck Today is a quiet answer-book and reflective experience. You do not need to create an account. You privately think of a question, but the question itself is not submitted to Little Luck Today. We do not intentionally collect or store your private questions.

Information stored on your device

To make the experience work correctly, Little Luck Today may store limited information in your browser, such as recent answer IDs and temporary experience state. Checkout context and purchase-related state may also be stored locally so you can return from Stripe Checkout to the correct answer and wallpaper.

This browser storage is not a customer account or a permanent cloud purchase history. You can clear it using your browser controls.

Payments

Optional digital wallpaper purchases are processed by Stripe. Little Luck Today does not directly receive or store your full payment card details. Stripe may process payment and transaction information according to its own privacy practices.

Payment verification is used to provide access to the digital wallpaper associated with a completed purchase. Little Luck Today does not currently provide permanent cross-device purchase recovery.

Little Luck Cards

Little Luck Cards lets an organiser create a collaborative keepsake. Card details, messages, and optional photos are stored so the organiser can review the card and the recipient can access it after the organiser reveals it.

An organiser email is used only for card-management messages and service reminders when email delivery is configured. It is not a marketing subscription. Contributors do not need an account. In Surprise Mode, contributors cannot see one another’s submissions.

Contributors may optionally share contact details with the recipient. With consent, those details are shown to the recipient after reveal; they are not provided to the organiser or other contributors.

Little Luck Cards are intended to remain available as keepsakes, but access and retention may be affected by deletion requests, abuse controls, technical changes, or applicable legal requirements.

Optional analytics

On public Little Luck Today pages, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand general traffic and improve the experience. Analytics is optional and does not load until you choose “Accept analytics”. Choosing “No thanks” does not prevent you from using the website.

After acceptance, Google Analytics may use analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and may collect general information such as the public page path, device and browser information, and interactions with public pages. We do not send Little Luck Card tokens, messages, recipient information, email addresses, or other private card content to Google Analytics.

Google acts as the analytics provider, and analytics data may be processed outside your country. Your analytics choice is remembered for approximately six months. You can change or withdraw it at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. Private or tokenised Little Luck Cards pages do not load Google Analytics.

Life Patterns and AI processing

Life Patterns asks you to provide reflections about meaningful moments and descriptions of activities in your life. When you choose to continue, the information needed for the relevant stage is sent securely to Little Luck Today and processed by Google’s Gemini service to generate the requested Life Patterns analysis.

The first stage sends your moments for analysis. A later refinement stage may send those moments, the earlier generated pattern, and your feedback or clarification. The optional Energy stages send your confirmed pattern and activity descriptions; the final Energy interpretation also sends the resulting predictions and your energy ratings. Life Patterns does not intentionally send your private reflections to analytics or advertising services.

Some Life Patterns state, including moments, activities, generated results, choices, and ratings, is temporarily retained in your browser using sessionStorage so the experience can continue during your session. Little Luck Today does not currently store Life Patterns reflections or generated results in its own server-side database or customer account.

Please do not submit information you do not want processed by an AI service. Google’s handling of information sent to Gemini is governed by Google’s applicable privacy and service terms.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Little Luck Today may use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the website. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads.

Google’s advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to Little Luck Today and/or other websites.

You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google’s Ads Settings. Where legally required, we will request your consent before advertising cookies or similar technologies are used.

Third-party services

Cloudflare provides website hosting, Worker, D1 database, R2 object-storage, and infrastructure services. Cloudflare may process technical information and card data necessary to deliver, secure, and operate Little Luck Cards.

Google provides Gemini processing for Life Patterns and Google Analytics and advertising services described above. You can read the providers’ policies here: Google Privacy Policy, Stripe Privacy Center, and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Data sharing

We do not sell users’ personal information. Information is shared with service providers such as Google, Stripe, and Cloudflare only as needed to provide the relevant AI, analytics, advertising, payment, hosting, security, and website operations.

Data retention and browser storage

Little Luck Today does not intentionally retain your private questions. Information stored locally remains under your browser’s control. You can remove it by clearing the site’s browser data. Stripe and Cloudflare may retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can choose not to use the paid wallpaper feature, decline optional analytics, change your analytics choice using Privacy choices, clear local browser storage, or contact us with a privacy question. No account or marketing subscription is required to use Little Luck Today.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the website or its practices change. The effective date above will indicate when the current version was published.
